The price of cardamom fell
to Rs. 25 thousand per Kg
this season, the highest fall
in a decade. The price was
Rs. 80 thousand last year.
Cardamom is grown in 40
districts with most production
centered in Terhathum,
Taplejung, Panchthar and
Sankhuwasabha in the
eastern region of Nepal.
